Organic Cotton and Wool Mattress

This is what started it all. As we started researching organics, we found that the most critical point to organics, in our eyes, was the crib mattress. Countries that have strict standards in their mattresses have little or no incidents of SIDS. If you follow the research, it almost looks as if we're killing our kids with the pesticides and flame retardants that we're using in their mattresses to protect them. It's just incredible.

We know this system contains 10% Boric Acid and 2.4% Antimony. European researchers measured and proved Antimony leaches through vinyl on crib mattresses, and linked this to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). High levels of Antimony were found in the livers of dissected dead human infants. Europe has been moving away from using flame retardants and requires them be proven safe before being used."
